On-Site Children's Programs: School-age Care

Pepper Tree After School Program

The Pepper Tree School is Stanford's only after-school program. Located in Escondido Village and operating between the hours of 12:00 noon and 6:00 p.m., the program is for children in kindergarten through second grade. Pepper Tree primarily serves graduate student families and gives priority and a reduced tuition rate to residents of Escondido Village. Spanish immersion option.

  • Eligibility: Pepper Tree offers enrollment priority and a reduced tuition rate to Stanford graduate students who are residents of Escondido Village. Pepper Tree is open to all Stanford affiliates. The Palo Alto community may also enroll on a space-available basis.
  • Hours: Monday through Friday 12:00 to 5:30 PM. throughout the academic year. A four week summer program is also offered.
