Rainbow
School
The Rainbow Nursery School is a parent cooperative that accepts children
2.9 years to 5 years of age. With an emphasis on community, Rainbow is designed
to meet the needs of graduate student families living in Escondido Village
and offers waiting list priority and reduced tuition to residents. Rainbow
School offers part-time morning schedules as well as a 9:00 am. to 3:00 p.m.
session to better accommodate graduate student schedules.
Bing Nursery
School
Bing Nursery School was established to provide a sound educational environment
for young children, to provide a laboratory setting for research in child development,
and to teach undergraduate and graduate students about children through observation
and first-hand experience in the classroom. Part day classes are offered for
children 2 through 5 years old.
- Eligibility: Stanford and the surrounding community. Tuition discount for
Stanford affiliates.
- Hours: MWF or TTh, 8:15 AM to 11:45 AM or 12:45 PM to 4:15 PM. Extended
care available.
