On-Site Children's Programs: Full-time Care
The Children's Center
of the Stanford Community (CCSC)
CCSC is a cooperative program in which parents may be involved in their child's
care on a regular basis. By working in the classroom, parents contribute their
special skills to the community, and come together with staff in the shared
experience of child-rearing. CCSC also offers a non-participation option for
a slightly higher tuition rate. Children 8 weeks to 5 years of age are enrolled
in this warm and inviting environment where learning is fun.

The Stanford Arboretum Children's Center (SACC or The Arboretum)
Built in 1988 by a consortium that included Lucile Salter Packard Children's
Hospital and the Stanford University Hospital, the Center offers a longer day
and an emphasis on accommodating unusual and flexible schedules whenever possible.
The classrooms encourage active exploration, invention and creativity in a
richly equipped environment. The Center serves children 8 weeks to 5 years
of age. (SACC is managed by Childrens' Creative Learning Centers.)

Knowledge
Beginnings Child Development Center
Knowledge Beginnings is the newest child care center at Stanford, located
in the Stanford West residential development off Sand Hill Road. It serves
infants through preschool-age children with a balance of activities involving
discovery and exploration through a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
Lunch is provided for toddlers through preschoolers.
- Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, open year round. Part-time
care available for two year olds and preschool only, either MWF or TTH
