On-Site Children's Programs
There are six children's programs on the Stanford campus that can serve approximately
650 children in either a full-time, part-time, nursery school, or combination
schedule. All six programs offer quality early childhood education and care,
and are taught by highly qualified staff in a warm and nurturing environment.
Additionally, all of the programs are accredited, or seeking accreditation,
by the National Association for the Education
of Young Children (NAEYC), which is the primary professional organization
for early childhood education. Accreditation sets quality of care standards
that exceed state licensing and are a benchmark for programs of excellence.
Stanford programs are often fully enrolled, but do maintain waiting lists.
Contact the centers directly for current enrollment information and waiting
list applications.
