Brown Bag Seminars
Each quarter (except Summer), the WorkLife Office presents
a variety of free workshops for the Stanford community. Workshops are open
to students, faculty and staff and their spouses/significant others. The
seminars are on a wide range of topics in the areas of work/life balance, parenting,
and elder care. Some recent topics include sleeplessness, protecting
yourself from identity theft, estate planning, discipline strategies for parents,
adoption, setting limits for adolescents, when your parents need extra care,
and advance directives. Attendees are invited to bring their lunches
and join the discussion.
